The CD-i KeyControl picture is wholly misleading, CD-i Emulator keyboard support has nothing to do with that.
It is merely the long-asked way of playing games with the keyboard by using keys as the gamepad buttons.
Now I feel compelled to also implement (a form of) CD-i KeyControl support...
no, no.... I first put up a picture of a normal keyboard, but then I found this. You can't connect the CD-i controllers to a PC anyway. I'll look for a better picture!
OK, changed the picture. I did not intend to mislead the purpose of the message...
Well, *technically* you can connect CD-i peripherals to a PC, using a sort of "reversed" null-modem cable. They are just serial peripherals, after all, mostly using very low baudrates at that.
Supporting this with CD-i Emulator is somewhere on the nice-to-have list for CD-i Emulator...
