Alan posted a link to a 'What was CD-i' article on the web, this time on a wordpress blog named 'The Magic Robot'. I always enjoy to read about what others have to say about CD-i: You can read it here. CDifan rapidly responds that, while the article states "The Philips CDi was the next step on from VCD", which is factually wrong, as CD-i predates VideoCD for several years.
I have to add to another quote from this article, "“typing” an eMail one letter at a time with your remote control on a virtual keyboard made it more of a novelty than a useful tool", that the writer obviously doesn't know about the CD-i KeyControl.
PS, I tagged the title with a (1) because I thought it's a nice start of a series on Interactive Dreams to find out what the web thinks of the CD-i, so let's find more 'What was CD-i' articles on the web and post them in the comments, on the forum or by email. Thanks! [Thanks, Alan]
