At 'The 3D Studio' you can buy 3D objects of all kind of things. A few days ago member 'Blazer' finished his 3D model of the first CD-i gamepad. Ofcourse I'm curious why anyone would need this, but the preview pictures are very nice, it's a nice recreation of the gamepad.
From the site: "Original controller for the Philips CD-I System. Four different versions are available: (1) Maya 2011 with Maxwell Materials: Includes all input graphs so the amount of smoothing can be changed by you. Everything is polygons except the the cord that is SUB-D"s and can easily be modified. All materials are Maxwell materials, and the scene is ready to render. (2) Maxwell Scene: Smoothed version with all materials, ready to render. (3) Obj: Unsmoothed version, all polygons. (4) Obj: Smoothed version, all polygons. The polygon and vertices-count is for the unsmoothed Maya-version excluding the SUB-D-cord." You can buy the 3D object for 20 dollars at the 3D Studio.
