The Best of CD-i 2007: *Platform Games*
>> Wednesday, October 24, 2007
Last week we started with the Best CD-i Games Awards @ Interactive Dreams kicking off with *Sports Games*! The poll was a close call but in the end 'International Tennis Open' won with 50% of the votes. My own vote? Ofcourse I voted but my favourite went to Striker Pro, which is in my view highly underrated but highly playable. Anyway, the audience has spoken and Tennis will continue to the final round. This week again we welcome you to vote for the best cd-i title. You can vote for 1 or more favourites! Every week we'll spawn a new poll in the left column of this blog: Look at the left column to find the current poll! Be quick as the vote limit is only seven days! After the closing day we'll post the results in each catagory post and in the end of December 2007 we'll be back with the final decision to mark "The Best CD-i Game of 2007". I hope you'll all have fun and enjoy CD-i as much as we do! Read on for this weeks nominees:

The winner is..... The Apprentice! But a close call was Lucky Luke, obviously a game in the same vein by the same developers, perhaps The Apprentice is also known by more people than Lucky Luke (or even the Christmas platformers, which I personally also find very good.) But I have to agree no other platform title can outlaw The Apprentice, where it be for the extras and long gameplay value.
